1. Meal preparation
We understand how it can be an arduous task to prepare a meal for someone you are taking care of especially when you’re busy. It is for these reasons that our trained caregivers prepare nutritional and wholesome meals for patients/clients. In case one only takes a special diet, our caregivers shall also cater for the same.
Patients need to eat healthily and at Home Central Healthcare we do understand this. We also encourage clients to work side by side with our caregivers in preparation of meals to encourage social interactions and to make them physically active.
2. Medication Reminders
Home Central Healthcare is a non-medical home care company that means it does not directly administer medications. However, our caregivers will help with reminders to ensure the seniors and elderly take their medications at the right time and as prescribed. Also, if reading the medicine labels is too difficult for the elderly/senior, our caregivers will assist with this.
3. Conversations
It is an open fact that people who engage frequently in conversation have lower chances of developing depression and often are more optimistic. Our caregivers will engage in conversations always allowing the patient to take the lead and ensuring that we make a difference in their life.
4. Running Errands
Patients also find it difficult to run errands due to age or ailments. If one is in need of assistance to run errands, our caregivers at Home Central Healthcare are there for you. We are available to assist with different errands including prescription pick up, driving the elderly, visiting the doctor or grocery shopping and many more!
5. Light Housekeeping
Our trained caregivers are available to assist with light housekeeping chores such as trash disposal, vacuuming, bathroom cleaning, mopping and kitchen cleaning. Good hygiene is key to improved health of the patient and we are there to provide this.
